'The Burbs' were formed as one of the first Nerdist School sketch house teams in the fall of 2015. They continue to perform as one of the resident sketch house teams of the new The Ruby LA theater.

Since then, The Burbs have put on shows set in the old west, space, the golden age of radio, XXXmas, the lost years of Jesus, Spring Breakworld, and sadly, they predicted Trump's presidency.
